XANTHOSTAT-40

Max Pharma‘s XANTHOSTAT-40 contains Febuxostat 40 mg, a powerful xanthine oxidase inhibitor used primarily to manage chronic hyperuricemia in patients with gout. Gout is a condition characterized by elevated uric acid levels in the blood, leading to the formation of urate crystals in the joints, which can cause sudden and severe pain, redness, and swelling.

Uses of XANTHOSTAT-40:

XANTHOSTAT-40 is widely prescribed for:

• Chronic management of hyperuricemia in adults with gout.

• Preventing flares associated with uric acid buildup.

• Reducing uric acid levels in individuals intolerant to allopurinol.

Unlike traditional gout medications, Febuxostat offers a targeted mechanism of action by inhibiting xanthine oxidase, an enzyme responsible for uric acid production.

Dosage & Administration:
